Finding a place to live is as important as choosing a school. Here are the 3 most common options.

1. School Dormitory

Pros: Easy procedure, furnished (fridge, washing machine), close to school.
Cons: Often shared rooms (2-4 people), curfew rules.
Cost: 40k~50k JPY/month.

2. Share House

Pros: Low initial cost, opportunity to make friends, short-term contracts available.
Cons: Shared kitchen/bathroom, noise issues.
Cost: 50k~70k JPY/month.

3. Private Apartment

Pros: Complete privacy, freedom.
Cons: Very high initial cost (Key money, agent fee, etc.), unfurnished.
